Carbon-free magnesium dry vibrating material, a newly developed environmental-friendly lining material for tundish, has been applied. Dry vibrating material is a new product developed mainly for carbon-containing dry vibrating material for tundish. Magnesium material is used as the basic material and special environment-friendly binder is used to produce enough demoulding strength when baked at low temperature. Compared with carbon-containing dry material, the material has no additives harmful to molten steel, so it will not cause secondary pollution such as phosphorus and carburization. The construction method of carbon-free dry vibrating material is the same as that of carbon-containing dry vibrating material. The operation is simple, and there is no odor (toxic, unpleasant) gas in the construction process. It can obviously improve the working environment of workers on the spot, and the residual lining is easy to turn over after use. Therefore, this material will have broad application prospects.
Finally, the construction steps of dry alkaline tundish are introduced.
1) Place metal molded or molded tires in the tundish, leaving a 30-40 mm working gap between the permanent lining and molded tires.

3) When the working space is filled, the mold is vibrated for a short time to make the dry material compact, and then heated in the mold with a heater to solidify the binder resin.
4) remove the mold after cooling, and bake 1000-1100 degrees before baking.
